Ethel H. (Battershell) HATCHER, 86, of Route 1, Jerseyville, former Pearl resdent, died Wednesday, December 9, 1981 at Jersey Communnity Hospital.

Her husband, Ora HATCHER, died in 1967. Surviving are a son, Nolan, of Jerseyville, two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ernest of rural Pittsfield and Ross of rural Pearl.

Visitation was held at Hanks Funeral Home in Pearl on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service there at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. James Maxwell officiating.

Burial was in Green Pond Cemetery near Pearl.
